Dollar at mid-106 yen level in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar edged up to the mid-106 yen level early Monday in Tokyo.
At 9 a.m., the dollar traded at 106.55-60 yen, against 106.25-35 yen in New York and 107.20-21 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.
The euro was quoted at 1.5902-5907 dollars and 169.45-50 yen, compared with late Friday's quotes of 1.5933-5943 dollar and 169.45-55 yen in New York and 1.5779-5780 dollar and 169.16-20 yen in Tokyo.
